I feel like I say this every time I post a new episode, but I’m incredibly excited to share this conversation with you… maybe because it totally didn’t go the direction I thought it would! It was even better than I could have imagined and is truly a conversation that will serve so many in our space… but first, let me tell you a bit about
.Jennifer Lighty is a word dervish—a storyteller, writer, mentor, and bodyworker whose work is a vessel for grounding the mythic dimension in modern life. She is a conduit for helping others rebuild the bridge between imagination, intuition, and logic so they operate from a sacred and holistic perspective. She’s also the author of Piko: a Return to Dreaming - her own story of remembering. Her passion is to reveal how myth and story can heal the divided brain and return humanity to a holistic perspective.

In the beginning, Jennifer boldly shares her own story of initiation through a journey with depression which eventually led to a reconnection with Nature. As the episode progressed, something magical happened. I asked a question about shame and feelings and somehow we ended up exploring the roots of capitalism, colonialism, empire and the human-wide wound of separation from the Great Mother. It was a ride and one I’m so honored to share with you.
